A bail bond is a financial guarantee to the court that the defendant will appear for all required court dates. When you post with Affordable Bail Bonds you pay a percentage of the bond and utilize collateral in the bond amount instead of having to pay the full amount to the courts.
In most cases, you’ll pay a non-refundable fee—usually 10% of the total bail amount. For example, if bail is set at $5,000, the cost would typically be $500. We also offer flexible payment plans to make the process more affordable.
We work fast—once we have the necessary information and payment, the bond can often be posted within 1–2 hours. The release time depends on the jail facility, but we do everything possible to speed things along.
You’ll need the full name of the person in custody, their date of birth, the jail they’re in, and if possible, their booking number and bail amount. We’ll guide you through the rest—no stress needed.
If the defendant misses court, the bond can be revoked, and a warrant may be issued. We’ll work with you to resolve the situation quickly, and in some cases, help the person get a new court date.
